ASFLLC is not a lender. We advance money for economic necessities against an interest in the contingent proceeds of your lawsuit. If you do not recover, then nothing is owed to ASFLLC. However, if you do recover, ASFLLC is paid from the proceeds of the lawsuit. ASFLLC charges a monthly fee, which accrues until the proceeds are paid. The payment to us could be substantial, but we also take the risk of losing our investment entirely, because we only do non-recourse funding.
